Gifts World Expo marking its grand debut in Kolkata with its 24th edition

This edition of India’s Most Popular Exhibition on Gifting & Promotional Solutions took place for the first time in Kolkata from 16 – 18 Feb at  Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan (Milan Mela) .

The Exhibition was a huge success for the Gifting industry of India as the show was filled with enthusiasm and commitment to providing the most versatile range of gifting solutions. The inaugural ceremony marked the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Shri Prahalad Rai Agarwala – Eminent Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, a Padma Shri awardee 2022, Chairman of Rupa & Company Limited; Guest of Honour Shri Sushil Poddar, the President of Confederation of West Bengal Trade Association (CWBTA), Mr. Anil Poddar, Director of Ad Gifts India Pvt Ltd; Bimal Saamal, Executive Director of BNI Kolkata region along with organizers – Ms Himani Gulati, Director, MEX Exhibitions and Mr Gaurav Juneja, Director, MEX Exhibitions.

Gifts World Expo brought 110 + exhibitors under 500+ Brands which showcased their 5000+ products which were witnessed by 6981 visitors. The trade floor was enthralled by the diversity of gifting solutions catering to every buyer’s needs and all budget ranges. The 3-day trade fair, organized by MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., showcased an extensive range of products in 12 distinct segments, including – Customized Gifts & Promotional Products; Beauty, Health & Wellness Gifts; Gourmet Hampers; Custom Branding Machinery; Electronic Gadgets & Home Appliances; Awards & Rewards; Handicrafts, Home Decor & Furnishings; Houseware & Kitchen Appliances; Stationery & Office Supplies; Innovative Gifting Boxes; Premium Gifts, Gold & Silver Gifts; and Lifestyle Products.

A show like Gifts World Expo has been a boon for the gifting industry. The participants came from all over India, showing the exclusive solutions from each corner of the country. The most number of participants were from Kolkata, Howrah, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Jamshedpur and Chennai.

The Expo proved itself to be a perfect platform to make business as well as change in the gifting market. It provided the exhibitors and the visitors a perfect match by bringing the business enthusiasts all together under one roof. The show was carried on with the utmost perfection and enthusiasm.  This unique event fostered cultural exchange, facilitating a platform beyond cultural enrichment; it served as a catalyst for economic growth by boosting local economies through increased business activities.
